*Location: Lagos (Hybrid)*

*Salary: *600k – 750k*

*Job Summary*:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth through strategic prospecting, market research, and relationship development. This role manages the sales lifecycle, builds and manages high-value partnerships, leads field-based business development activities, and maintains strong relationships with key accounts to ensure sustained revenue growth and market expansion.

*Key Focus:*

1. Lead prospecting and market research efforts to identify new business opportunities, enterprise companies, target markets, and strategic partners.
2. Develop and execute outreach and engagement strategies to acquire new clients and expand the company’s market presence.
3. Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead qualification, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and onboarding.
4. Build, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that support business growth and market expansion.
5. Conduct field work such as client visits, presentations, networking events, and on-site meetings to strengthen business relationships.
6. Oversee account management activities, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, upselling, and long-term account growth.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and partner success.
8. . Track sales pipelines, partnerships, and performance metrics using CRM and reporting tools.
9. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business strategy and decision-making.

*What We are Looking For*:

1. 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related role.
2. Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
3. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
4. Ability to work independently, manage field-based activities, and lead initiatives end-to-end.
5. Strong organizational and pipeline management skills.
6. Strategic, results-driven mindset with strong business acumen.
7. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
