Interim Finance Manager (Transition Role – 3 Months)

Hybrid (Lagos State)
Salary – Competitive

Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to lead day-to-day finance operations during a leadership transition. You’ll ensure financial continuity, strong controls, timely reporting, donor compliance, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities:
– Implement and enforce finance policies, SOPs, and internal controls
– Oversee bookkeeping, journal entries, and transaction coding
– Complete monthly bank reconciliations and management accounts
– Maintain accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks) and audit trails
– Manage donor-funded project finances and track grant budgets
– Prepare donor financial reports and variance analyses
– Support donor audits and financial reviews
– Process payments, oversee payroll, and maintain asset registers
– Ensure audit-ready documentation and smooth finance transition

Qualifications/Experience:
– 7–10 years’ finance experience, preferably with NGOs or donor-funded projects
– Proven expertise in donor compliance, reporting, and audits
– Hands-on experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks)
– Strong knowledge of internal controls and audit requirements
– Ability to operate independently and deliver under pressure
– Prior interim or transition finance leadership experience is a plus
