Job Description
Job Title – Accountant
Location – Ikate, Lekki, Lagos
Salary – N300,000 Net/Month
Overview
As an accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the company’s financial operations are efficient, effective and aligned with its objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Prepare budgets, financial reports and variance analysis to support decision-making processes.
· Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
· Track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement budget controls as necessary.
· Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
· Manage cash flow by forecasting cash needs and optimizing cash balances.
· Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets. Analyze financial performance against key metrics and provide insightful recommendations to optimize results.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, ACCA or CPA preferred.
· 3 – 4 years of experience in finance, with a proven track record in financial management and analysis preferably in FMCG sector
· Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial software/systems.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.
Compensation & Benefits
· Monthly Net Pay: ₦300,000

· Discretionary bonus upon confirmation
Hybrid Work Schedule:
· 4 days onsite/week
· 1 day remote/weekly
