Job Title – Medical Records/Administrative Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Records / Administrative Officer to manage patient records, support administrative functions, and ensure smooth operation of the healthcare facility.
The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, assist with reporting, and coordinate administrative tasks to enhance patient care and facility efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
File, retrieve, and manage both physical and electronic health records.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with medical records regulations.
Assist in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Support administrative tasks such as correspondence, reporting, and data entry.
Coordinate between departments for smooth operational workflow.
Prepare reports on patient statistics, admissions, and discharge summaries.
Handle inquiries from patients, staff, and external organizations.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, data protection laws, and quality standards.

Requirements
Diploma, Degree, or Certificate in Health Information Management, Administration, or related field.
Knowledge of medical records management systems and procedures.
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or hospital management software.

Preferred Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in medical records or healthcare administration.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
