Job Title – Plant Manager (Rice Mill Operations)
Location – Epe, Lagos
Department – Operations / Production
Reports To – Managing Director

Role Summary
ARN Foods Limited is seeking a highly experienced Plant Manager to lead and optimize its rice mill operations. The role involves overseeing end-to-end production, ensuring efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage full rice mill operations (paddy intake, parboiling, drying, milling, polishing, grading, and packaging).
* ⁠Deliver production targets while ensuring cost efficiency and minimal waste.
* ⁠Maintain strict quality standards and compliance with NAFDAC, SON, and export requirements.
* ⁠Oversee plant maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
* ⁠Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and logistics for seamless operations.
* ⁠Enforce HSE standards and promote a strong safety culture.
• Lead and develop plant teams, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Monitor KPIs (output, recovery rate, downtime, cost efficiency) and report to management.

Qualification/Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
– 8–12 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in senior-level FMCG factory or plant management.
– Strong expertise in rice mill commissioning, operations, and machinery.
– Proven experience managing large-scale production facilities.
– Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
– Experience with production planning, maintenance systems, and quality control.
– Familiarity with ERP systems and plant automation tools.
