Job Position – Finance Executive
Job Location – Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type – Full-time

Core Function
Provide administrative, clerical, and operational support to the finance team, ensuring efficient record-keeping documentation.

Key Responsibilities
General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Record daily business transactions into accounting systems Quickbooks.
Accounts Receivable & Payable: Issue invoices to clients, follow up on outstanding payments, and process vendor payments.
Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements daily or monthly to identify and resolve discrepancies in cash flow.
Tax & Compliance: Ensure timely preparation of schedule for statutory taxes such as VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and PAYE.
Audit Support: Prepare detailed schedules and documentation to assist internal and external auditors.
Carry out clerical tasks required in the finance department and any other tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of practical experience in a finance or accounting department.
Professional Certification: Membership or being at the foundation stage of bodies like ICAN or ACCA is often required for career progression.
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and in specialized accounting software like QuickBooks or Tally.
