Job Description

Job Title – HSE Officer
Location – Kano
Salary – N180,000

Job Summary:
The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving organisation’s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) systems to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company requirements. The role focuses on promoting strong minimising risk, safety culture, preventing incidents, and ensuring a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

Required Qualifications & Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree of diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
2. 3-5 years of relevant HSE experience
3. Knowledge of local HSE legislation and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
4. Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
5. Experience in a foam manufacturing environment is a strong advantage.
