Job Title – Geologist

Requirement
– Minimum: B.Sc. in Geology. Preferred: M.Sc. in Petroleum Geology or Sedimentology.
– Minimum 5 years as Wellsite Geologist or Development Geologist.
– Understanding of Gharif fluvial system, Al Khlata glaciogenic heterogenous systems (P1/P5/P9), and Haushi Group structural complexity (salt tectonics, faults).
-Well Site Geologist will be responsible for full wellsite geological support across exploration, appraisal, and development wells. This includes:
– Monitoring real-time LWD data and performing stratigraphic correlation
– Cuttings collection, washing, microscopic examination, UV/hexane testing, and lithology documentation
– Geosteering support for horizontal wells
– Integration with Mudlogging services on select well types
– Identifying drilling/geological risks (faults, facies changes, overpressure indicators, etc.)
