Responsibilities :
•To attain the Bank’s market share and profitability objectives.
•To galvanize and coordinate the Bank’s relationship management activities in a risk-sensitive and cost-effective manner.
•Build and maintain a healthy credit portfolio within assigned Area and champion the recovery effort in respect of non- performing credit facilities.
•Communicate and monitor the implementation of the Bank’s marketing strategy to all Credit & Marketing Staff within the Area.
•To review performance of account opened, loan disbursement, collection of due obligations and enforcing stringent controls to prevent PDO (Past Due Obligations)
•Ensure that weekly/monthly activity status and performance reports for the period are prepared for the attention of the Head of Business and Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer and other relevant Departments.
•Ensure timely review and approval of credit requests in line with the Bank’s Credit Policy
•Formulate business strategies that will attract profitable businesses and periodically engage in group marketing activities within the area of coverage.
•Identify customer/market needs and proactively seek to provide products/services to meet these needs.
•Initiate and participate in area meetings as required and regularly monitoring and evaluate the performance of Branch Managers.
•Maintain existing customer relationships and identify new ones, intervene to resolve sensitive or complex relationship issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
•Monitor the quality of existing credit relationships on a continuous basis.
•Oversee and supervise the relationship management of high net worth accounts.
•Provide leadership and guidance to subordinate staff in the area.
•Establish and monitor the achievement of targets by the Branch Managers.
