About the Role
Zabira is building the financial rails for the modern African economy spanning Crypto, Gift Cards, Remittance, and Merchant APIs. We are looking for a commercial-minded Head of Marketing to take over our brand strategy.

This is not a role for “maintenance mode.” We need a strategist who can pivot our brand from “awareness” to “market dominance.” If you can draw a straight line from a creative campaign to our P&L, reduce CAC, and increase transaction volume, we want to speak with you.

The Mandate
1. Commercial Impact: Move beyond vanity metrics (likes/impressions). Your primary KPI is the growth of active users and transaction volume across our Web and App platforms.

2. Trust Architecture: In the crypto/fintech space, trust is currency. You will engineer a brand narrative that positions Zabira as the most secure and reliable platform in Nigeria.

3. Product Growth: Lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for our new B2B Merchant APIs and consumer crypto products.

Core Responsibilities
a. Strategic Leadership: Own the annual marketing budget and strategy. Report directly to the CEO on ROI, CAC, and LTV.

b. Performance Marketing: Oversee the acquisition funnel. Ensure our paid spend (Ads, Influencers, SEO) is converting at a profitable rate.

c. Brand & PR: Manage Zabira’s corporate reputation, executive positioning, and crisis communication protocols.

d. User Retention: Deploy lifecycle marketing campaigns (Email/SMS/Push) to reactivate dormant users and increase the lifetime value of current traders.

What We Are Looking For
1. Experience: 6+ years in Marketing/Comms with significant leadership experience.

2. Sector Expertise: Must have prior experience in Fintech, Crypto, Betting, or high-velocity E-commerce in the Nigerian market.

3. Data-Driven: You don’t guess; you test. You are proficient in Google Analytics, CRM tools, and attribution modeling.

4. The “Switch”: You know when to be corporate (B2B merchants) and when to be street-smart (B2C crypto traders).
