Compensation: N600k net + other benefits
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to oversee the company’s financial operations and provide strategic financial support to management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and analysis, while ensuring effective financial controls and supporting business growth initiatives.
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee day-to-day financial operations including cash flow management, expense control, financial reporting, and consolidation of accounts across all business units.
* Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial, management, and statutory reports, including budgets, forecasts, tax filings, cash flow statements, and management accounts.
* Ensure full compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, audit requirements, and liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, regulators, and consultants.
* Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, internal controls, and risk management frameworks while advising the CEO on financial risks and strategic decisions.
* Track, analyze, and evaluate project, campaign, and operational expenses; conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and assess the viability of new business initiatives.
* Provide leadership and financial support across the organization, including managing office-related expenses, supporting HR on compensation and benefits, and offering technical guidance on accounting best practices.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in an accounting, finance, or account executive role.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and compliance.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
* Ability to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.
