Job Description

Job Title – Accounts and Admin Lead
Location – Lagos 
Employment Type – Part-time

Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
Develop, monitor, and manage the company’s annual budget.
Provide financial forecasts, track variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds as needed.
Manage company bank accounts, handle banking relations, and oversee reconciliations.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Ensure proper invoicing, payment terms, and credit control procedures are followed.
Ensure the company complies with local, state, and federal tax laws.
Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, PAYE, corporate tax) and handle any tax audits or inquiries.
Oversee the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and employee benefits.
Ensure compliance with statutory deductions (e.g., pensions, health insurance).
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion.
Implement audit recommendations and improve internal controls.
Oversee procurement of office supplies and maintain an optimal inventory of resources.
Manage vendor contracts and service agreements to ensure cost efficiency and service quality.
Maintain accurate records of company assets and oversee their purchase, maintenance, and repairs.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
Proven experience (4+ years) in financial management and office administration.
Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Familiarity with local tax laws and statutory regulations.
