Job Description

Job Title – Architect / Facility Manager
Location – Lagos State
Employment Type – Full-Time

Job Summary
A reputable organization is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architect / Facility Manager to oversee building design, maintenance, and facility operations. The ideal candidate will combine technical architectural expertise with strong facility management capabilities to ensure optimal use and upkeep of company properties.

Key Responsibilities
Architectural Duties:
Develop and review architectural designs, drawings, and specifications
Ensure all designs comply with regulatory standards and building codes
Conduct site inspections and supervise construction/renovation projects
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
Prepare project cost estimates and timelines

Facility Management Duties:
Oversee daily operations and maintenance of facilities
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Monitor facility budgets and control operational costs
Coordinate repairs, renovations, and space management
Ensure optimal functionality of utilities (electricity, water, HVAC, etc.)

Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in architecture and/or facility management
B.Sc / HND/ND in Architecture, Building Technology, Estate Management, or related field
Professional certification or membership (e.g., NIA, COREN) is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
Good understanding of facility management systems and maintenance practices
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
