Job Description

Job Title – Automation Electrical Technician/Engineer
Location – Kaduna

Job Summary
To work with the available Processing team, to install and calibrate all machinery and tools, s et up processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
• Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
• Supervising electricians.
• Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment such as Compressor, Pump, Chiller, Water Treatment Plant and HVAC.

*Minimum Qualification and Experience:*
● Minimum of OND/Technical Education in Electrical Electronics, any other relevant curses.
● 5 years relevant working experience in electrical Automation electronics with FMCG manufacturing setting, (special attention on installation and maintenance, interpretation of electrical drawings).
● Excellent problem-solving skills.
● Good communication skills.
● Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
● A critical thinker and a solution provider.
● Ability to speak Hausa fluently is an added advantage.
● Good interpersonal and effective communication skills.
● Stamina to work round the clock during peak of the project.
