Job Title – Customs Clearance Executive
Job Location – Lagos Nigeria

Job Brief
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Customs Clearance Executive to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating the timely release of cargo.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and process all customs clearance documentation for import and export shipments
• Handle documents such as Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Form M, PAAR, and SGD
• Coordinate with customs authorities for cargo examination, inspection, and release
• Classify goods using HS Codes and ensure correct tariff application
• Calculate and verify duties, taxes, and other applicable charges
• Liaise with port authorities, shipping companies, and regulatory agencies (e.g., SON, NAFDAC, NDLEA)
• Monitor shipment progress and ensure timely clearance of goods
• Resolve customs queries, documentation issues, and clearance delays
• Maintain accurate records of all clearance activities
• Provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders

✅ Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in customs clearance or freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian customs procedures (Form M, PAAR, HS Code classification, etc.)
• Familiarity with customs processing systems (e.g., NICIS II) is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
