POSITION – Employee Service Manager
REPORTING LINE – Reporting to Head, ESM
LOCATION – LAGOS

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY: To manage the day-to-day operations of employees deployed to assigned clients. Responsibilities will relate to onboarding, performance management, training and development, leave administration, employee relations, compensation and benefits, database management, exit management and general account Administration as required by respective clients.

ONBOARDING:
• Ensure that appropriate offer letters are generated in line with the SLA with respective client
• Ensure all employees are created and fully onboarded on PEMS. Work with the EPV team to ensure all documents are fully and correctly uploaded.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of all employees, including but not limited to Pension and Tax registration
• Ensure that all new staff are enrolled under Life insurance and on the HMO scheme

EMPLOYEE TRAINING
• Plan and conduct employees’ orientation and induction programme
• Prepare training needs and training plans for outsourced employees
• Manage training plans and prepare training report for clients

EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
• Conduct performance appraisals exercise for outsourced staff
• Negotiate with clients on appraisal outcomes and rewards
• Deploy relevant training interventions to assist staff

EMPLOYEE & CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
• Conduct periodic feedback survey on the quality of the Firm service outsourced employees
• Attend to all employees enquires, calls, mails on loans, vacations, offer letters,
• Manage employees’ relations bothering on recruitment, compensation, disciplinary action,
conflict resolution and interpretation/application of policies and procedures
• Plan and run bi annual employee forum and retreats
• Manage Clients’ audit enquiry, query, and periodic assessment
• Ensure employees are managed with minimal or no escalation from client

PAYROLL
• Ensure submission of accurate salary variations promptly every month
• Upload same on the company HRIS and ensure an error free payroll processing
• Ensure reconciliation of monthly invoice information with payroll variation information and submit to Finance for invoicing to client not later than 2 days after payment of salaries

REPORTING
• Prepare and submit accurate operations and headcount reports monthly to manager
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports to clients
• Prepare call reports, visitation reports and induction reports as applicable.
• Any other task that may be assigned by your manager or supervisor

REQUIREMENTS
• A Bachelors’ Degree in a numerate discipline from a reputable organization
• An MBA would be an added advantage
• 3-5 years HR Generalist experience preferably in a reputable outsourcing company
• Possess good planning and organizational skills
