Job Title – Drilling Engineer(Entry Level)
Location – Lagos

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Drilling Engineer to support drilling operations within a dynamic environment. This role offers hands-on exposure to well planning, execution, and project coordination.

Reports to: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and execution of drilling operations in line with company standards and safety regulations.
• Support preparation of drilling programs, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Monitor drilling activities and track performance against planned objectives.
• Coordinate with rig teams, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of drilling data, daily reports, and operational updates.
• Identify operational risks and support implementation of mitigation measures.
• Participate in post-well evaluations and performance analysis.

Requirements
• Minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) in Engineering (preferably Petroleum Engineering or related discipline).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
• Proactive with a strong sense of ownership, able to anticipate tasks, identify issues early, and take initiative in delivering solutions without constant supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
