Job Title – Facility Manager
Location – Ilupeju Lagos (with weekly visits to Ota)
Employment Type – Full-Time
Salary – ₦250,000 Gross Monthly
Department – Admin/Facility
Reporting Line – CHRO

About the Role
Our client, a reputable and well-established organization, is seeking a proactive and experienced Facility Manager to oversee and maintain multiple properties, ensuring safe, efficient, and well-managed environments for staff and visitors. This role spans office complexes and residential apartments.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance
– Oversee daily facility operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, etc.)
– Implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime

Vendor Management
– Source, negotiate, and manage service providers (cleaning, security, waste, etc.)
– Monitor service delivery and ensure SLAs are met

Health, Safety & Compliance
– Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safety regulations
– Conduct routine inspections and safety drills

Budget & Cost Control
– Manage facility budgets and track operational expenses
– Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality

Space & Asset Management
– Coordinate office layouts and workspace allocation
– Maintain inventory of assets, furniture, and equipment

Utilities Management
– Monitor diesel, electricity, water, and internet services
– Ensure minimal disruptions and quick resolution of issues

Reporting
– Provide regular reports on facility status, expenses, and incidents

Requirements
– HND/B.Sc in Facility Management, Estate Management, Engineering, or related field
– 3 years in facility/property management (corporate or manufacturing environment preferred)
– Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance
– Vendor negotiation and cost management expertise
– Understanding of HSE standards and compliance
– Proficiency in MS Office; project management skills are a plus
– Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
– IFMA, PMP, or HSE certification is an advantage
