About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head, Human Resources & Administration to lead our people and administrative functions as we continue to expand and strengthen our operations. This role is critical in driving organizational effectiveness, building a high-performance culture, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will combine strong operational expertise with strategic insight, and will be responsible for shaping people policies, improving workforce productivity, and supporting business growth across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s growth and transformation agenda.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy.
• Drive culture, employee engagement, and performance management initiatives.
*Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning*
• Lead recruitment and talent acquisition across all levels to ensure the organization attracts and retains high-performing talent.
• Strengthen employer branding and candidate experience.
• Establish workforce planning and succession frameworks.
*Performance & Employee Management*
• Oversee performance management systems and ensure accountability across all business units.
• Provide guidance on disciplinary processes, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
• Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
HR Operations & Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with labour laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Review, implement, and strengthen HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8–10 years progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Experience in a fast-paced, multi-business or service-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
