Job Title – Heavy Earth Moving Machines (HEMM) Technicians. (For Nigerians living in Nigeria)
 
Job Summary:
We are recruiting experienced Heavy Earth Moving Machines (HEMM) Mechanics for a leading Oil & Gas operation in Nigeria. Ideal candidates must have extensive experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipments such as excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, cranes, forklifts, dump trucks etc.
 
Key Responsibilities:
–         Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy earth moving equipment.
–         Diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, braking systems, and steering systems.
–         Conduct routine inspections and servicing of equipment to identify potential issues.
–         Repair and replace worn or damaged mechanical components.
–         Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic system failures.
–         Carry out engine overhauls and rebuilds when required.
–         Read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and equipment schematics.
–         Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
–         Ensure tools and workshop equipment are properly used and maintained.
–         Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
–         Report equipment defects and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications:
– Trade Test Certificate (Grade I, II, or III).
– SSCE or equivalent technical qualification.
– Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience as a Mechanic/Technician
