Job Title –  Mechanical Technician (HDD)
Job Location – South-South Nigeria

Job Brief
A leading Oil & Gas firm is looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HDD rigs, mud pumps, and associated heavy machinery.
– Diagnose mechanical faults in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and drilling equipment.
– Conduct troubleshooting and repair of gearboxes, bearings, and rotating equipment.
– Ensure all mechanical maintenance activities comply with HSE standards and company policies.
– Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory for mechanical components.

Requirements:
– Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
– Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in HDD or heavy construction.
– Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and drilling equipment.
– Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
– Valid certifications (e.g., Trade Test, HSE) are an advantage.
