Job Title – Procurement Lead
Location – Lagos
Job Type – Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies that support the company’s architectural, interior design, and workspace fit-out projects.
Source, evaluate, and engage suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure the delivery of quality products and services.
Obtain and analyze quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contractual agreements to achieve cost savings and value for money.
Manage the procurement of furniture, fixtures, fittings, building materials, equipment, and project-related services.
Prepare and process purchase orders, procurement schedules, and supplier contracts.
Maintain an approved vendor database and conduct regular supplier performance evaluations.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Designers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, and Site Teams to understand project requirements.
Ensure the timely delivery of materials and services to project sites to prevent delays.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of stock when necessary.
Track procurement expenditures and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, alternative materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Resolve supplier disputes, delivery issues, and procurement-related challenges efficiently.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including quotations, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and delivery notes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the architectural, construction, interior fit-out, or workspace design industry.
Proven experience in sourcing and procuring construction materials, furniture, fixtures, fittings, and project-related services.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, contract administration, and supply chain management.
Experience in negotiating contracts, pricing, and supplier agreements.
Excellent understanding of budgeting, cost control, and procurement planning.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and procurement management systems.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Professional certification, such as CIPS, CIPSMN, or related procurement qualifications, will be an added advantage.
