Job Title – Referral Coordinator / Scheduler
Location – Chevron, Lagos
Working Days – Mon – Fri
Working Hours – 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Work Mode – On-site
Accommodation – Overnight accommodation provided

Salary: ₦300,000 – ₦400,000 per month

Job Summary
Ensure seamless communication between referring providers, insurance companies, and clinical staff. Facilitate efficient scheduling, accurate documentation, and compliance with healthcare regulations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
– Manage new patient referrals via phone, email, and EHR systems
– Gather and review medical records, insurance information, and referral documentation
– Schedule appointments using eClinicalWorks; handle insurance verifications
– Coordinate appointment flow; manage cancellations and confirmations
– Review and update medical records in compliance with regulations
– Maintain detailed records of scheduling activities and patient interactions
– Provide excellent patient service and support front desk operations
– Develop familiarity with contracted insurance networks

Skills Required
– Data privacy & confidentiality compliance
– Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and 10-key typing
-,Administrative/front desk experience in healthcare
– Knowledge of cardiology medical terminology
– Strong customer service and multi-line phone etiquette
– Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently

Qualifications
– BSc./HND in English Language, Linguistics, Mass Communication, Business/Public Administration, Health Information Management, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in healthcare administration, medical scheduling, patient coordination, customer service, or a similar administrative role
– Excellent spoken and written English with strong communication and interpersonal skills
