Job Description

Job Title – Senior Counsel
Location – Victoria Island, Lagos
Salary – Negotiable

Job Summary:
Anoka & Associates is seeking a highly experienced Senior Counsel with strong expertise in litigation and debt recovery to manage complex legal matters and deliver strategic legal solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage litigation cases from initiation to resolution
Handle debt recovery, enforcement, and related proceedings
Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents
Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters
Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Supervise and mentor junior associates

Key Requirements:
Qualified legal practitioner with a valid practicing license
Minimum of 12 years post-call experience
Strong, proven experience in litigation and debt recovery (MANDATORY)
Demonstrated track record of handling recovery cases and court proceedings
Excellent advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of professionalism and integrity

Salary: Negotiable
