Job Description
Job Title – Stock Controller
Location – EDO & DELTA STATE
Employment Type – Full-Time
Experience – 1 year
Salary – ₦148,000 (Gross Salary)
Qualification – ND Minimum
Industry – FinTech (Device financing and Digital financial services)
Role Overview
As a Stock Controller, you’re the operational backbone of our Client’s retail presence. You manage the physical and system-side movement of stocks from receipt and issuance to reconciliation and returns — while also being the first point of contact for customers who walk through the door. This is a hands-on, high-accountability role that keeps the entire sales operation running.
Most stock or inventory roles are about keeping things tidy. This one is about keeping a financial inclusion mission moving. Every device you issue is a step toward a customer accessing credit, earning income, or connecting to digital services for the first time. You’re not just managing shelves — you’re managing the supply chain for life-changing products.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage stock end-to-end: receive, issue, conduct stock takes, and lead month-end reconciliation to ensure physical and system records are always aligned.
• Handle reverse logistics — processing phone returns through our 3PL network — while resolving customer inquiries and logging issues on the spot.
• Support onboarding the new Stock Controllers, maintain the Client’s brand standards at the stock point, and escalate team issues to keep operations running smoothly.
Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in customer care or sales, ideally within a phone or device-selling environment
• Computer literacy and comfort working with stock management systems for both physical and digital record-keeping.
• A diploma in any field, or equivalent tertiary training in customer service; front office management experience is an added plus.
