Job Title – Talent Management Officer (ET-ABO)
Location – Victoria Island, Lagos
Department – Human Capital Management
Reports to – Head, Talent Management
About the Role
The Talent Management Officer will play a key role in maximizing employee potential by implementing effective talent and performance management initiatives. This role will support the development of a capable, motivated workforce through structured performance management, talent development programs, and strategic workforce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development and implementation of the bank’s talent and
performance management strategies.
* Drive initiatives that build and sustain a high-performing workforce and
talent pipeline.
* Coordinate performance management processes, including mid-year, year-
end, and confirmation appraisals.
* Design and implement programs for career development, succession
planning, and staff capacity assessment.
* Analyze workforce performance trends and provide insights to support
strategic HR decisions.
* Work closely with line managers to define SMART KPIs and performance
metrics across roles.
* Facilitate staff engagement sessions to address performance issues and
improvement initiatives.
* Administer and monitor the organization’s performance management
system and development plans.
* Ensure compliance with HR data protection regulations and internal
policies.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Social
Sciences, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Talent Management or Performance
Management.
*Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD) is an added advantage.
