JOB TITLE – CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CTO)

The CTO will lead the organisation’s technology strategy, digital transformation agenda, and infrastructure development. This is a critical leadership role for someone who can bridge business ambition with technical execution.
*Key Responsibilities*
• Define and drive the organisation’s technology vision and digital transformation roadmap.
• Oversee all technology platforms, core banking systems, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
• Lead product development, engineering, and DevOps teams.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies including AI, blockchain, and open banking frameworks.
• Ensure system reliability, data security, and business continuity at all times.
• Collaborate with the MD and executive team on technology-driven business strategy.
• Manage vendor relationships, technology procurement, and IT governance.
*Qualifications & Experience*
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 12 years of technology experience, with at least 5 years in a senior technology leadership role within financial services or fintech.
• Strong expertise in core banking platforms, API integrations, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated experience with digital product development, mobile banking, and payment systems.
• Certifications in relevant technology or security domains (e.g. AWS, Azure, CISSP, TOGAF) are an advantage.
• Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
