Job Title – Compensation and Benefits Officer( Must have Microfinance Experience)
Location – Lagos, Nigeria
Salary Range – ₦400,000 – ₦450,000 (Monthly)
Industry – Microfinance Bank

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compensation and Benefits Officer with proven experience in the microfinance banking sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organization’s compensation structure, payroll administration, benefits programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities
. Administer end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory regulations
. Design, implement, and manage competitive compensation and benefits structures aligned with organizational objectives.
. Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation analysis within the microfinance banking industry.
. Manage employee benefits programs including pensions, health insurance, leave administration, bonuses, and other entitlements.
. Ensure compliance with statutory remittances (PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, etc.) and regulatory standards.
. Prepare monthly payroll reports, compensation analysis, and HR metrics for management review.
. Support performance management processes relating to compensation adjustments and incentive structures.
. Maintain accurate employee compensation records and ensure data confidentiality.
. Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and finance teams on compensation-related matters.

Requirements:
. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
. Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits within a Microfinance Bank (mandatory).
. Males would be an Added Advantage
. Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
. Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
. Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
. High level of integrity and confidentiality.
