*About the Role*
We are seeking result-driven and energetic Field Sales Representatives to drive sales, expand distribution, and ensure strong market visibility for our toothpaste products across assigned territories.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, increasing numeric distribution, executing in-store visibility standards, and building strong customer relationships within their assigned location.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Sales Execution & Distribution*
* Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets (value and volume).
* Increase numeric distribution by opening new outlets within the territory.
* Ensure availability of all toothpaste SKUs in active outlets.
* Territory Coverage & Journey Planning
* Execute approved daily Journey Plan (JP).
* Visit at least 70% of planned outlets daily.
* Recruit and onboard new outlets monthly into the territory plan.
* Visibility & Merchandising
* Ensure strong product visibility at point of sale.
* Deploy POS materials (posters, shelf strips, display units, wobblers).
* Monitor and report competitor pricing and promotional activities.
* Reporting & Market Intelligence
* Submit Daily Sales Reports (DSR) before close of business daily.
* Provide weekly market intelligence reports (pricing, promotions, new entrants).
* Track product expiry, defective returns, and retailer feedback.
* Identify and report key sales drivers within the territory.
*Customer Relationship Management*
* Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and pharmacy outlets.
* Resolve minor complaints and escalate major issues to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM).
* Educate retailers on product benefits, pricing, and ongoing promotions.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in FMCG field sales (toothpaste or personal care products is an advantage).
* Strong understanding of territory sales and distribution management.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
