Job Position – Finance Officer
Job Location – Victoria Island, Lagoss
Employment Type – Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Accounts Management: Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Budgeting: Track budget expenses and provide regular reports on variances.
Compliance: Ensure all financial transactions comply with local regulations and internal policies.
Audit Support: Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits.
Payroll: Manage payroll processing and tax withholdings.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 2 – 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Must have a second-class upper from a recognised university
Must be working with a bank or financial institution.
Experience in the use of BankOne
Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Excel and experience with accounting software
Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for spotting discrepancies.
Communication: Ability to explain financial data to non-finance colleagues clearly.
