Job Title – Flight Ticketing Officer
Location – Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Salary – ₦131,000 (Net) + monthly performance based bonus

Job Summary
Our client, a reputable travel agency, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Flight Ticketing Officer to manage flight bookings, ticket issuance, re-issuance, and reservations. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of airline systems, fare rules, and travel regulations to deliver accurate, timely, and cost-effective ticketing services.

Key Responsibilities
– Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, re-issuance, refunds and cancellations.
– Provide clients with accurate flight options, fares, schedules and travel requirements
– Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo for bookings
– Ensure compliance with airline fare rules, ticketing policies and internal procedures.
– Liaise with airlines and travel partners on schedule changes, waivers and special requests.
– Resolve ticketing issues including date changes, name corrections and missed flights
– Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments and client itineraries
– Support sales and customer service teams with ticketing-related queries
– Stay updated on airline policies, promotions, and travel advisories
– Handle urgent and last-minute bookings efficiently and professionally.

Qualifications
– OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Key Requirements
– 1–2 years’ experience in flight ticketing and reservations (travel agency experience is required).
– Proficiency in at least one GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo)
– Strong understanding of airline fare structures, rules, and ticketing procedures.
– Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
– Strong communication and customer service skills.
