Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager – South East to lead branch operations in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing business performance, and leading cross-functional teams across sales, aftersales, customer service, and administration.
This role requires a commercially driven leader with strong financial acumen and proven experience in managing large business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage branch operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Drive revenue growth through strategic sales and business development initiatives
• Monitor sales and profitability performance against targets
• Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and government agencies
• Lead and develop high-performing teams across the branch
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Identify new market opportunities and implement strategies to expand the business
Requirements
Minimum 15 years relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Strong sales, marketing, and business development experience
Proven financial management and P&L management expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or Social Sciences (MBA/MSc is an advantage)
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
