Role Overview
The Human Resources Manager will serve as a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving the company’s people agenda. This role requires a hands-on HR professional with strong experience managing large, low-skilled, and high-attrition workforces, particularly drivers within a male-dominated environment.
The ideal candidate must be capable of engaging executive leadership while effectively executing organizational vision through structured workforce systems and strong people management practices.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
– Translate executive vision into actionable workforce initiatives.
– Advise senior leadership on organizational design, workforce risks, and expansion planning.
– Lead workforce planning and manpower budgeting.
– Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for large operational and driver populations
– Develop engagement strategies for male-dominated field teams.
– Enforce discipline, compliance, and operational workforce standards.
– Ensure proper documentation and workforce tracking
– Establish KPI frameworks across departments.
– Drive accountability and performance culture.
– Implement productivity tracking mechanisms.
– Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory standards.
– Develop HR policies, SOPs, and operational manuals.
– Oversee audits and statutory documentation.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or related field.
– Master’s degree (MBA or MSc in HR/Management) is an added advantage.
– Minimum of 10+ years’ progressive HR experience.
At least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
– Proven experience managing large, low-skilled or operational workforce populations.
– Demonstrated experience managing drivers or similar high-attrition teams.
– Experience in e-commerce, logistics, transportation, construction, or ride-hailing industries is highly preferred.
– Human Resource Certification Institute (PHR / SPHR) or other is an Advantage
