Job Title – Mechanical Technician
Location – Tincan Island, Apapa, Lagos
Budget – N192,000K M/N

Job Summary
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on cranes to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role involves troubleshooting faults, performing repairs, and supporting equipment availability in line with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
·      Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of crane systems (electrical or mechanical).
·      Diagnose faults and carry out corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
·      Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
·      Ensure compliance with safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
·      Prepare maintenance and inspection reports.
·      Support spare parts identification and requisition.

Requirements
·      OND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
·      Minimum of 0-2 years hands-on crane maintenance experience.
·      Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
·      HSE certification is an advantage.
·      Ability to work at heights and in demanding operational environments.
