About the role:
An upstream oil & gas company in Lagos is looking for a commercially sharp Financial Accountant to own their financial operations — from monthly management accounts and IFRS reporting to cash flow management, budgeting, and statutory compliance.

You must have:
* 2:1 degree in Accounting
* ACA or ACCA qualification
* 5+ years accounting experience in upstream oil & gas
* Big 4 audit/accounting background *(non-negotiable)*
* Strong IFRS knowledge
* Experience dealing with Nigerian regulatory bodies (DPR, FIRS etc.)

*What you’ll be doing:*
* Monthly management accounts & annual financial statements
* Cash flow management, budgeting & forecasting
* Account reconciliations & internal controls
* Liaison with auditors, banks & regulators
