Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Job Description

Job Title – Senior Credit Risk Analyst
Location – Lagos and Abuja
Remuneration – 450k – 750k net

Key Responsibilities –
·       Review loan applications to assess creditworthiness and repayment capacity
·       Analyze financial statements, cashflows, and projections
·       Review facilities including POs, Bridge Finance, Working Capital Loans, Income Discounting, etc.
·       Conduct credit bureau spooling and prepare monthly bureau reports
·       Monitor loan portfolios to detect early signs of distress or fraud
·       Prepare detailed credit analysis reports with recommendations
·       Generate weekly and monthly credit risk reports
·       Mentor and guide junior team members

Requirements:
·       4–10 years’ professional experience (preferably in SME loan review)
·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
·       Strong knowledge of regulatory policies and credit procedures
·       Excellent numerical, analytical, and risk assessment skills
·       Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management ability
·       High-level interpersonal and communication skills
·       Strong problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
