About the Company:
Our client is a next-generation climate financing platform helping Nigerian SMEs transition from diesel generators to affordable solar energy. They combine fintech, distributed energy, and emerging market finance to power businesses with clean, reliable energy across Africa.

Role Overview:
Our client is looking to hire a Solar Deployment & Technical Operations Lead to own the end-to-end delivery of their commercial solar installations (50–250kVA+).
This is a hands-on field leadership role. You will serve as the technical authority on every project site, managing contractors, enforcing quality standards, and ensuring every system is safe, correctly installed, and on time. Expect to spend 50%+ of your time in the field.

What You’ll Do:
✅ Lead installation and commissioning of solar systems across customer sites
✅ Conduct site audits, load assessments, and feasibility evaluations for SME clients
✅ Review and validate system designs, BOMs, inverter selection, and battery configurations
✅ Supervise EPC contractors and installation teams, holding them accountable to quality and safety standards
✅ Enforce grounding, wiring, and protection standards in line with Nigerian electrical codes
✅ Implement QA/QC processes and resolve on-site technical issues in real time
✅ Collaborate with the commercial team on pre-sales technical assessments
✅ Train installers on best practices and evaluate contractor performance
✅ Manage project timelines and ensure on-schedule delivery across all active sites

What We’re Looking For
Requirements:
✅ BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering or a related field
✅ 4+ years experience in solar PV or distributed energy systems
✅ Proven track record delivering commercial solar installations (50–250kVA+)
✅ Experience supervising installation teams or EPC contractors
✅ Strong grasp of solar system design and electrical integration
✅ Familiarity with Nigerian electrical standards and grid infrastructure

Preferred:
✅ Experience with hybrid systems (solar + battery + grid/generator)
✅ NSE or COREN membership
✅ Experience sourcing equipment from international suppliers

Compensation:
✅ Base salary from ₦400,000/month, negotiable based on level of experience
✅ Performance-based cash incentives
