JOB TITLE – VIDEO EDITOR
Location – Abuja
Employment Type – Full-Time

Job Summary
A reputable media company is seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Video Editor to join its dynamic content team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content across both long-form programming and short-form digital platforms.

This role requires a strong storyteller with keen attention to detail, capable of transforming raw footage into compelling visual narratives that engage diverse audiences. The successful candidate will also bring expertise in vertical and short-form content, as well as AI-enabled visual production techniques.

Key Responsibilities
· Edit and produce high-quality long-form content, including interviews, shows, and feature segments
· Create engaging short-form and vertical videos optimized for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
· Collaborate with producers and content teams to deliver compelling visual storytelling
· Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, color grading, and sound design to enhance production quality
· Utilize AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and creative output
· Ensure consistency in brand style and visual identity across all projects
· Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
· Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements
· 3–5 years of professional experience in video editing within media, television, or digital production
· Degree or certification in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· Strong portfolio showcasing both long-form and short-form/vertical video projects
· Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects
· Basic to intermediate skills in graphic design and motion graphics
· Experience with AI-powered editing tools is an added advantage
· Excellent storytelling ability, creativity, attention to detail, and strong time management skills
