You're in the Spotlight, Make It Count
At KivoSpot, your video CV isn’t just a formality, it’s your moment. In just 1–2 minutes, you have the chance to express who you are, what you bring to the table, and why an employer should want to work with you.
This isn’t a test. It’s your audition for a much-coveted role. So be professional — but don’t be afraid to take a chance. Be real. Be clear. Be memorable.
What to Include
- Start strong with who you are”Hi, I’m [First Name], a [Role] with [X years] of experience helping [type of companies/teams] achieve [result].”
 - Share the value you bring, with proofTalk about how you made an impact in your last role. Be specific.”At my previous job, I streamlined the customer onboarding process, reducing turnaround time by 40% using tools like HubSpot and Loom.”
 - Mention your key skills and toolsHighlight the platforms and skills you’re comfortable with: Slack, Notion, Zendesk, ClickUp, Canva, Trello, etc.
 - Be clear about what you want next”I’m currently looking for a remote customer success or project coordination role where I can contribute to growth and efficiency.”
 - Close with confidence and character”Thank you for taking the time to watch. I look forward to being part of a team where initiative and ideas matter.”
 - For Creative Roles, like content creation etc, don’t play nice, go crazy, show them exactly why you are who they want.

															Express Yourself (Professionally)
									This is your spotlight moment.
You don’t have to be a public speaker, just be clear, composed, and genuine.
Don’t be afraid to show a bit of your personality or energy, employers notice that.
Think of it as an interview that happens before the interview.

Make It Yours
You don’t have to sit stiff in a chair, unless you want to.
As long as you give us a neutral background and a clear, focused video, you can sit, stand, or walk. Speak how you naturally would. Smile. Be human. For creative roles, be creative, some of these rules do not apply to you. Just give us great content; they must be tasteful or will be rejected.
This is YOUR video CV. Let them see you, not just your text.
